As We Saw It: The Story of Integration at the University of Texas at Austin was the result of a series of interviews with and written stories shared by the Precursors, the first Black students at the University of Texas. Leslie served primarily as developmental editor and copyeditor. She wrote certain passages and obtained copyright permissions as necessary.
